F.-G. Morelli is a sculptor and woodcarver. He worked in Paris, London, Budapest. The bust "Mephistopheles" was made in 1895. as a pair to the bust "Don Quixote" (1895). The couple personifies the main ethical categories: Good and Evil. Mephistopheles is a classic allegory of world Evil, the devil, an evil spirit in folklore and artistic creativity of the peoples of Europe. A bosom image of a man with horns above his forehead, a forked beard, a protruding mustache and a tantalizing tongue protruding. On his head, turned to the left and up, there is an unusual headdress, a cape falls from the left shoulder, a standing collar protrudes behind his shoulders. The interpretation of the image is expressive and theatrical. The inscription on the back side along the cut of the back: "Felix Morelli 1895". The Kasli plant has been casting a bust since the end of the 19th century.
