Description of apparatus and operating principle The industrial separator is a cylindrical metal container equipped with a bump designed for initial (coarse) fission of the mixture. Vertical partitions are located across the reservoir. Unrefined oil enters the apparatus through the inlet pipes. After a rough separation, oil enters the perforated partitions, where gas is analyzed from the dissolved state. Then the oil settles in the sludge zone, after which, already purified of impurities, the gas leaves the apparatus. Separators can be of different types.
